This intuitive figurative polymer painting on two canvas panels was composed intuitively from a curved (non-Euclidean) aerial perspective. Inspired by musician friends of the artist and impromptu jazz evenings at the artist's home, the drawing and painting closely parallels (in principle) the improvisational approach in
jazz. In such improvisations, there is an intriguing flux and interchange of rhythms melodies and textures which are 'elastically' and dynamically interconnected
via an indeterminate yet 'group-conscious' syntax.
